So you might ask yourself, “What is really the style?” I have scoured all of the most prestigious beauty expert’s advice for 2015 to put together a couple key staples that are consistent no matter where you look. These looks are clean and easy enough that every woman can incorporate them into her look.

For Hair: Ecaille, Tortoise Shell Hair Color Technique

"Ombre who?" Ombre is taking on a whole new sophistication and is turning heads. This trend called Ecaille actually started in Paris and is steadily finding its way to be to the number one look all over the world. It does have a striking resemblance to the ombre with darker root and lighter ends, but incorporates caramel tones, golden highlights, amber tones and major shine to give it a more natural look. If you did not follow the whole ombre trend because it was too shocking this is a much more subtle and can look great on any woman of any age!

For Skin: Bare-Faced

Bare-faced skin is back in! You do not need all of that makeup to look beautiful. Think of this technique as minimal and natural makeup. If you feel more comfortable with a little bit of powder, which is understandable however a light pat is all you need. "Less is more."

A New Year, A NEW YOU!

The New Year has started and this is a time for new beginnings. Many people have a long list of New Year’s resolutions that they want to accomplish to make themselves feel better. My question to you is “What makes someone feel really feel good and confident?” The obvious answer is: “Looking Good!” So as we start this year off why don’t you take a little time and treat yourself to start out this new year with a new look and new confidence!

What's the Big Deal?!

WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL?!

So…what’s the big deal, you ask? Well, the big deal is about this salon that this very particular individual was introduced to years ago. 

I’m a creature of habit and I’m very particular with where I decide to spend my money and time. No, I wouldn’t say that I’m a snob, more like when I find quality I stay with that quality. Pigalle Salon & Medspa in Southfield, Michigan has been the go-to place for myself and many other individuals for all of their aesthetic needs. 

When I was first introduced to the salon my interest was piqued because Pigalle is an area in Paris, France. As a Francophile wannabe, I was instantly attracted by just the name. There is a salon in Michigan named after an area in Paris, France? Whoa! This has got to be good! I mean haute couture hails from Paris with the likes of iconic legends of Chanel, Givenchy, and Lanvin. Plus, the French have a long history of quality luxury goods that are uniquely French. 

So, on my first arrival I was pleasantly surprised (actually floored) because I walked into a space that exuded a sense of luxury. A neutral palette of creams, browns, and silvers blended together with a modern flair. Not modern like confrontational modern, but modern that made you feel comfortable and at home. Bottled water and espresso (black, please) were offered when I arrived. 

Now, to be frank, the amount of services provided at this salon is nothing short of amazing; haircuts, facials, massages, eyelash extensions and medspa treatments to name a few. I could spend all day here!

Ok, so, you might want to know how to pronounce the name of the salon correctly. 
I’ve heard many variations on the pronunciation and thought that perhaps a little audio tutorial would help the next time you call Pigalle Salon & MedSpa for your appointment.The staff at Pigalle honestly don’t have an issue with how someone pronounces the salon's  name, they’re more concerned with making your experience a memorable one with exemplary customer service. (true story) Anyhow, for the curious out there here’s a little tutorial on the pronunciation:
